To see the group blossom from a little group of five to well over a thousand members with chapters in multiple cities is something I couldn't have imagined fifteen years ago!
Self expression at all costs
My first event was the annual Bi Party at the L.A. LGBT Center. I'd never met a friendlier and more inviting group of people. I felt instantly accepted and at home.
Short and simple
Whatever side of the bi spectrum you are on; in-the-closet, out-the-closet, on the fence, etc. - this group helps bring you to your center.
A New Kind of Diversity
Gathered together in one space were many people of all stripes who just happened to be bi. I felt like I was being accepted into a great group.
Absolutely Fabulous Friends

A Space I Know is There
amBi gave me a lot of hope just by existing. When I got a bit braver and started going to PRIDE parades, amBi was always the group I looked forward to seeing the most. It made me feel like I was home!
One of My First Safe Spaces
amBi gave me the space I needed to explore my identity, find friends in the bi+ community, and come out to myself as transgender and non-binary. I'll always be grateful for that.

In less than a year, amBi's first small town club has grown to over 100 members and has hosted over fifty meetups, including several big parties.
This Is How I Learned To Love Myself
I can never bring my girlfriend home to my biological family, even though I am out and proud (both poly and bi), but amBi is the family I choose.
