Organizing with amBi

Thanks to our volunteers our community keeps growing.

There are different ways you can get involved. DM us if you are interested in helping your local chapter as one of the following roles 👇

1) Co-Organizer

Co-organizers are the heads of a chapter and share the administrative and operational responsibility of running the group. Each chapter has 2 co-organizers, preferably of different genders.

Some of the co-organizer responsibilities are:

• Planning and hosting events

• Approving or declining new member requests

• Recruiting more members and organizers

2) Assistant Organizer

The role of an assistant organizer is to support the coorganizers. That means you help make executive decisions (such as what to do about a problem member) and you jump in and help as needed.

3) Event Organizers

An event organizer’s main focus is to host events for the chapter, and to make sure members have fun. A great way to decide what events to host is simply to offer events that inspire you and that you would enjoy.

4) Facebook Moderator

Moderators make sure the interaction among members is friendly and aligned to the chapter’s interests. They also encourage conversation among the community and help create a welcoming environment for all the members.

If you need more information, you can also read our handbook.
