Dive time! This month's bar? Cherry Bomb! Hello, world! I'm your...host. Well it was a good run while it lasted but we all know I am not a wild girl. Now if the lyrics were "weird girl" we could go with it further. But ANYWAY-

This month as I said we're heading to Cherry Bomb. Cherry Bomb is...well...a dive. Dark, boozy, cash only (probably, bring paper just in case) and it's found in the Bankers Hill neighborhood. Located in a small strip with a taco joint (Papas & Tacos) behind Hob Nob Hill, you'll be set for food and drinks.

I've never been here so I make no guarantees about the quality of anything. So far we've had great times at these dives, but maybe we've overdue for a lousy one? A reviewer named Peanut D posted: "Horrible. All the way around Horrible. Games don't work, toilet was clogged, not a place to bring friend unless you're homeless." So perhaps a true dive then! Another random said "Good company around the bar too. It's dark and dungeony just like any good dive should be. Service is fast and friendly, they have games, and it doesn't even smell like shit in here!"

Will we be here on a whiffy night? Time will tell. Come hang out in the grungiest dive we've been to in a hot minute and enjoy some metal music.

By now you know the routine- sign up, show up, and have fun making new friends. I make no promises about the quality of the bars, the ease of parking in the neighborhood, or the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Bring a friend/partner or come solo. We'll have members from amBi and SDBW joining in so you won't be lonely. It's going to be a fun night!
