In town for Memorial Day weekend?
Enjoy Sunday afternoon green tea with artisanal chocolate (from Dick Taylor in Eureka CA) https://dicktaylorchocolate.com/and bi-friendly conversation chez Michelle.
We'll sit around my dining table (thus the event cap) and sip a selection of 2 different green teas (definitely at least 1 from Mariage Frères, Paris, and possibly a Japanese selection). I'll provide artisanal chocolate to taste with the tea.
I will provide hospitali-tea - thus no need to bring anything. (I'd like to keep it simple and streamlined, as it takes an effort to make and serve tea).
Since this event takes place at my house, it is limited to those amBi members who have met me or who have a particular interest in tea and reach out to me to introduce themselves and see if there's a spot.
Also, given the smaller number of seats (literally - that fit around my table), if you don't like green tea or can't consume caffeine, please wait til another event - I'll host a game night some time or a restaurant outing. And please take your RSVP seriously - update a couple of days ahead at the latest if you can't make it - unless you find yourself sniffling or coughing (please be respectful of others and bow out gracefully even at the last minute if need be, as we'll be seated in proximity) or have an emergency at the last minute, of course.
